How we start:
PLANNING
We begin with two financial targets – what you would like to spend and what you can spend. Then we set two primary design targets – finishes and energy goals. We want to know what you want in each of these areas, then we can place you in a price point for each – low, mid, high. We use your project plans and your targets, and provide feedback on how your financial targets fit your design targets for your plan. (If you have only the desire and an idea and no plans, ask about our architect/designer package to launch you on your way.)
We review together and determine a set of specifications for your home. We develop a budget based on your specifications and sign the project agreement. Next we value-engineer your plans and develop the best approaches to meeting and exceeding your set of specifications.
During construction:
WE CARRY OUT
We provide timely financial and photo updates throughout the building process. You will always know what’s going on – snapshots of progress and costs.
Our easy to understand reporting gives you up to date cost data plus projected final costs at any point in the project.
We work with you on all critical details, and act as your eyes and ears on site.
We protect your interests. We assemble a select team of building professionals targeted to your project, and together, we peel back the layers of your home with you, giving you the flexibility to fine-tune to your liking. We guide you through the building process so you get the best value from your investment.
We deliver your finished home:
YOU UNDERSTAND & ENJOY
We give you a certificate of occupancy from your town building inspector. We commission all home systems, walk through with you and with the appropriate contractors, so you understand your systems, and we deliver a home manual with critical contacts and specifications for your systems.
We give you a complete set of project photos and financials, digitally and in print, together with a project log highlighting features, experiences unique to your project, and if appropriate, a video highlighting stages of your project.
We extend to you our full warranty for a period of one year, and our full attention and assistance to you in any matter regarding your home for as long as you own your home.
Starting from scratch:

If you have only the desire and an idea, we will connect you with the right team to develop your ideas on paper.
We will listen to your idea and put you together with the right architect or designer. We will be your single point of contact for meetings and correspondence.
We will value engineer your design and obtain necessary engineering and stamps. We will oversee the design process to make sure it meets your project goals.
